Does the Mobile ID app show within all your other apps?
I got all the exact same issues too. Bought phone recently.
So it just keeps cycling. Turn off wifi and it keeps going. it's used over 160MB of data in the last 30 minutes. Throws up an error screen and just keeps download.
No. It's not available on the home screen or any of the adjacent swipe screens. You can only access it through in the --> Settings, --> General, --> apps (app info). As you can see there is no "Mobile ID" application icon to be clicked from the home or adjacent swipe screens. Furthermore there is no place to unistall the app save to uninstall the updates associated with the app (app info), neither can it be disabled since the button to do so is grayed out. Force stop is worthless in this case since on restart of the phone the "Mobile ID" app starts back up on its own.
Hey there, @hamberfim! We might need to uninstall the content, then try again. The Mobile ID itself cannot be uninstalled but you can try to uninstall the packages that the phone is trying to install, that way we can fix any corrupted files. Here is how:
1. Select the Mobile ID icon from the home screen.
2. At the Choose Your ID screen, select Manage ID Packs
3. Select All IDs
4. Select one of the following options:•If all content: Select the categories to remove.
•If individual content within a category: Select the expand option, then the icon for the category and check the box for the individual content.
5 Select Remove Selected Items and then Delete
Apperently you haven't read any of the post.
There is no Mobile ID icon from any screen except in the --> Settings, -->
General, --> apps.
I've had my for 3 days now.... 24/7 download. The canned-scripted solutions are starting to wear my nerves down. It's obvious none of those work.
Just to confirm, @hamberfim when and where did you purchase the phone?
