I just read through that other very long locked thread on this issue. Wow this has been going on for a while. The good new is that the admin said they have:
"Update: We currently have 2 devices that are exhibiting this issue. One is being examined by Sprint labs and the other by the project manager of Mobile ID. More to come."
So maybe they'll have a fix soon.
In the other thread that's 24 pages long it says they fixed the problem with the recent update. All you have to do is turn your phone off for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. My LG X Charge seems to be working fine now.
