Samsung Galaxy A6 Connection Issues + Activation Issue

I have a recently purchased Galaxy A6. In the few days I've owned it, I've had issues with spotty connection, receiving texts, data not working, etc. In texting with support (which is incredibly difficult with little to no connection!), I've tried ##72786#, a factory reset, and then I was told to turn off my phone for 10 minutes while some sort of update was done before doing ##72786# again.

 

In the process of doing all this the last couple days, I realized ##72786# would sometimes reset it enough that I'd get texts for a few minutes. I did it on accident with airplane mode on, and now I'm getting an "Activation Incomplete" message. I've done the whole thing again - factory reset, ##72786#, etc. and can't get it to reactivate. It would be great if I could talk to someone online rather than trying to text / call, which I obviously can't do at the moment.
