If you’re trying to swap your service from an existing iPhone to a new iPhone, you might run into Apple two-factor authentication which requires an Apple ID verification code. This is a security feature Apple provides to ensure your account can only be accessed on devices you trust. 

 

You may need to access your Apple ID account from a trusted device to manage two-factor authentication.
