Can't place outgoing call "Your virginmobile account does not have enough money in it"

Tried to place a local call but an automated message came up saying I can't make a call because my account doesn't have enough money, and that I should top up, but my account is on autopay and I'm definitely current on the payments. I can send and receive texts and the data network is working but I can't place calls.
