New phone says activated but doesn't work

New phone says activated but doesn't work

It says it's activated but can't call or text. Or receive any. 

It has been saying unable to establish a wireless data connection the whole time. Does that have anything to do with it? 

-I have done a factory reset. 

-I've tried the ##72786# (or whatever it is)

-tried updating the systems (just loads forever) 

 

Not of these are working. 😔
