this must be a common problem, as I never got my email discussing my request to release my phone today either. I was told up to 48 hours for my phone to be released by the 3rd agent I spoke to today. I called last friday to get my account number and pin, which took speaking with 2 customer service agents. During those conversations no one mentioned the policy requiring an up to 48 hour hold on my MEID number to transfer.
