Access cut last night

Last night in the middle of browsinbg, my Broadband2Go suddenly would not go to any site except the Virgin log-in page. It insisted that I must log in to the network before browsing, even though I was already logged in. My monthly service plan is good until the 26th of this month and is unlimited, so there should be both sufficient time and data in my account. Why am I unable to browse?
