I restarted my monthly Broadband2Go plan on its due date. The money came out of my account. The modem functions -- it's connecting to the forum right now -- but I cannot browse anywhere except the Virgin site. Any other site gives the error message, "You must log in to this network before you can access the internet" (even though I am logged in already) as if I did not have valid service. This happens fairly frequently, and usually tech support can fix it on the first phone call. However, this is the third time since July of last year that it has lasted multiple days, and each time I've been told it was due to a tower upgrade (that coincidentally starts when I renew my plan). I am hoping for a long-term fix so I don't have to call tech support so often.
