Hello, Ericzku. So sorry to hear about this. We'd like to take a closer look. Can you please send us the nearest cross streets and zip code so we can check the network performance? Have you tried taking the SIM card out and restarting the phone?
Hello ianshmian805. I am sorry about the issue there with your phone. Please try the following; On your dial pad enter ##72786#, say Yes Or OK to all you see. This network reset will get it out of roaming. Please keep us updated.
Hello, @momma385. Thanks for contacting us. This is a known issue Samsung is experiencing with the new update to the Android 9 Pie. They are currently working on a fix for the recent update. We recommend you check System Updates to make sure that you receive it. Alternatively, we suggest you contact Samsung for further assistance.
Hello . Was just wondering if anyone is aware of a fix or a status of an upcoming fix. I bought a Sumsung A6 phone last month and ever since upgrading to Android 9.0 Pie , it goes into roaming at least one a day, sometimes twice. Running the ##72786# reset always fixes it, but it is still a 3-5 minute process that is a nuicence after a while.
Had Virgin help tech run a diagnostic test a few weeks ago and change my mobile network type and add a new Access Point Name, but it hasn't helped. Based on this and a few other general internet posts , it does seem related to Pie and not an issue with Virgin or any other carrier.
Thought I would ask if anyone has heard any news or if you believe that it has a different root cause.
Hey there, Bfarlow! We have not found a work around for a definitive fix yet. We are waiting on the brand maker to get a definitive fix. We apologize.
