Samsung J7 Refine rarely connects to mobile service

I have had Virgin Mobile for years and I have always had an LG brand phone (different versions of inexpensive ones). I just bought a Samsung J7 refine and the same places that I have had great coverage for years I have little or no coverage. It occasionally works, but it takes forever. The only thing that has changed is the brand of the phone. Ideas?

49009, 49012, 49046 and everywhere in between. Gull Road and Sprinkle, Kilgore and Westnedge, M-89 and Gull Road, M-89 and 42nd St, M-43 and Milo Road. I always had great service until now. Most of these are busy, populated areas. It's odd.

Thanks for that information. An outage was recently closed in those areas. Our team is working diligently to restore service to full capacity soon. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Do you know how long this will take? My service doesn't seem to be on par with my old LG phones in the same areas yet.
