Can't send/receive text messages

I bought a pre-owned S7, though it was not with its SIM card. So I contacted support and had a new SIM sent to me. I got it yesterday. I activated the phone and it acquired my phone number. But I can't send or receive text messages.


I've updated the Profile, PRL from the System Update menu but nothing makes them work. My texts just continue to be marked as sending... And I am not receiving the ones I have been sent.
