Horrid Customer Service-making ME chase down their misshipped phone...

I ordered a new phone, I know where I live and I gave them the correct shipping address.  They instead substituted an address in another town, and are now trying to tell me that I have to file a police report because they screwed up the order.  I want MY PHONE, I am not interested in playing detective. THEY should yship me a phone to the right address and leave me out of the police work. Ridiculous. Customer Service is sticking with their story, Credit card Co has disputed the charge as they should have, and Virgin Mobile needs to ship me a phone, as they should have to fix THEIR ERROR.  Really, ridiculous! Can someone help fix this?

I really sorry for the inconvenience that you're going through. The police report and consequent steps to take, are required by FedEx to change the package destination to your correct address. I apologize again for the inconvenience.
