VM twitter support sent me. Virgin Mobile call center "assistance" de-activated my existing phone but didn't turn on my new (used) one!! Now I have no way to call, text etc to get it figured out, they said to come over here for help. Please send me where I can get help - I have a VM phone now (deactiveated apparently), and a phone that was on VM network (my wifes old phone she upgraded sucessfully) that has been restored to factory settings - what to do now?? I need my phone back missing work calls, missing jobs. iPhone 4s
Hot Tip - if you need phone support try @virginmobileusa twitter support or text support they provided instructions for transfer and made necessary changes on their end which allowed me to safely switch phones, many thanks to them.
I contacted an editor of a prominent Apple-related blog to help get to the bottom of this. (I'll be honest, I had fantasies of a hardhitting expose' where Virgin execs dodged cameras with their faces hidden). He contacted the VM Spokesperson, who replied with this:
"As for the availability of the iPhone X, we have stayed in close contact with Apple since the announcement of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. We have relayed the timeframes Apple provides us to customers since November and unfortunately, those have changed frequently and also been delayed. I hope that helps."
At least it's not the canned copy-and-paste response that's been parroted repeatedly on these boards. I actually don't think this is B.S. I think Virgin is that impotent of a company that they are no more than an afterthought to Apple and have no muscle to negotiate a legitmate contract that ensures them at least some product. Also, if anyone is blocking them, it's probably Sprint, not Apple (why would Apple distribute phones to all other carriers but not Virgin?).
FYI: I did ask permission to post this before doing so
This is what I did on Saturday, I got my sim free unlocked Iphone X from the Apple store, and the sim card which said on it "boost, Sprint, and Virgin"
It would not activate online, you have to call Virgin in order for it to get activated. It worked right away once Virgin did what they had to do.
I have bought my daughter an I-phone 6 and on Saturday I activated it and am trying to port in a number from Page Plus. It is now Wednesday morning and it still has not gone through. The status page still says that it should take 15 minutes and if it does not go through to call this number if you are not porting from Tracfone or Page Plus. But I am porting in from Page Plus. How can I get this resolved?
BTW, I think I put in my username instead of account # when putting in the port request.
Thank You for any and all help!
Hey there, @mike1071! Sorry to hear that. We d be happy to help. Did you already receive assistance from one of our agents? Was the port in re-submitted? If so, please private message us your daughter's current phone number and PIN to check the status of the port.
Hey there, Ghoulgirl! That information is unavailable. You may check our website periodically for updates. https://goo.gl/XhkIyW.

Hello. I bought a iphone SE on black friday expecting to get the 200$ rebate and the 1$ for 6 month apple store exclusive as seen in the advertisements below. After canceling my old plan with AT&T and forfeiting my prepay with them, I was told i was not eligible for the rebate because the phone was was not purchased on the virgin website. Apple called their Virgin rep for me, Mario at #801 8abc and I was assured that I was indeed eligible as per the terms and conditions (which i will post a screenshot of in the comments. I was told I would be getting a call on Monday from Mario because he was busy with other black Friday issues. I have not got a callback despite leaving a message on Tuesday, and the apple store has contacted another rep who says I am not eligible for the rebate. Not only do the terms and conditions not specify where the phone needs to be purchased, the virgin USA website suggests that I buy my model of phone at an apple store due to them being sold out online. At this point I am incredibly frustrated at the lack of communication I have received.
Actually, Virgin has contacted me and confirmed that the terms didn't specify where the phone had to have been bought. They are currently working on the logistics of processing the rebate for me.
I am new to Virgin Mobile. I ordered a pre-owned Apple iPhone 6S on 11/24/2017 and it has been shipped today. However, I found the Bluetooth didn't work and I couldn't found any Bluetooth devices from this iPhone. According to Virgin Mobile policy, I need to ship it back to Virgin Mobile for the replacement. Could I request a prepaid shipping label?
Hi there, @leiwangPhD. We have replied to your private message. Please check your inbox.
First of all I apologize for posting this on the iPhone forum. I can't find the Broadband forum anymore. I'm reading a website that says Virgin Mobile Broadband has shut down their prepaid service on November 18th, 2017. Well that date has passed and I still have their service. I'm using a Broadband2Go device with 3G/4G capability that plugs into my Windows 7 USB port. I'm on the $50 unlimited data plan that runs out of high speed after using 2.5 gigs. I've had this plan for many years. Am I not affected by this prepaid announcement? Or will I be affected when my 30 days of service runs out and I have to reactivate my plan next month? Please respond because I'm concerned.
@BAJ @Cbx1 Hi. I do see news about it, but this is referring to Virgin Mobile Australia, not Virgin Mobile USA. If this ever happens with Virgin Mobile USA, customers should be notified, but as of now, there are no news on us removing this service. - E.J.
Hello Scocuzza3! Great question! Within 3-5 days after purchase the customer will receive an e-mail with a link to a website to register for their gift. It is imperative that they complete this step or they will not receive their pre-paid card. Upon confirmation of the second consecutive monthly MRC payment the customer will receive the card to their registered address within 14 days. Thanks!
