can i buy a VM sim card for this phone, and use it on VM, I already have an account. Motorola Moto G6 XT1925-2 32GB 5.7" Dual SIM 4G LTE Factory Unlocked?
I'm so confused...
I see now that there are new android devices under the Shop Phones area. What is going on with Android? I don't want to buy a new phone only to find out that I have to switch over to a new carrier anyway.
If VM wanted to switch to iPhone, fair enough. But you should have let your android users know via a general text and you should have had a smooth transition over to Boost in place before you made the switch.
I was always happy with VM until this whole thing took place. Nothing against iPhone, but I wish you had let us Android users know that the switch was coming up and not just popping it up on your website one day with only iPhones.
I know that an announcement was made in the news, but I didn't see it until I went to the site and only saw iPhones. Frankly, I don't go to the website often and do most of what I need to do through the phone, especially since I use autopay. I don't need to go to the site often unless I want a new phone.
I've been a VM customer for over 10 years now and have never considered switching until now.
So, what's the story VM? Do I need to switch over or are Androids here to stay?
Hi, in the official announcement "We Still Love Our Android Users!" you say:
Later this year, we will offer our customers that prefer Android a simple, hassle-free way to switch over to Boost Mobile. Under this arrangement, most Virgin Mobile customers will be able keep their current plan and phone, or switch to any current Boost Mobile plan and phone
I had a few questions.
1. "Later this year . . ." Can you be more specific about when and how this offer will happen?
2. "MOST . . . will be able keep their current plan and phone" A list of phones/plans that are eleigible would be helpful. I'd like to upgrade my android phones now (I have three lines) but they would be expensive paperweights if I can't use them on BOOST. If I keep a "current VM" phone on BOOST, will it continue to receive system updates for its lifespan? Ditto on the expensive paperweights comment.
3. I find the current 5GB for $35/month plan at VM to be a good deal for the perfect amount of data. I have 3 lines with that plan. Will that still exist after the move?
I have 2 of these phones (both new) and both are continuously giving me this error code. I see in a previous post on the same subject that this was resolved. Ummmm...no, it's not. What's the status of this issue?
Yes, you read that right. Someone else has been receiving the text messages from some of my friends.
I just got this phone today, and I found it weird that I wasn't receiving all of my friends' texts... A few hours later, one of my friends told me that he got a reply from someone who wasn't me, and the guy said that he has received some messages that were for me... I'm literally sharing this number with someone else right now. Has this happened to anybody else? This was a brand new, straight from the box (box has never been opened).
Anyway can I fix this?
If not, then I'm gonna have to try to return this phone back to walmart, tomorrow. Kind of pissed if I have to do that though 'cause I've already dropped $35 on a topup card. :?
My Android Phone is dead, so I need to buy a new one. I currently have a Virgin Mobile account, my question is, do I order the new phone from Virgin Mobile Store now and, once I receive the phone, would I be able to activate the new phone and use the same phone number?
Thanks for your help,
My Friend and I who knows a little more about tech than I do decided to remove apps from my phone that I don't use, we thought if we do this my mobile data wouldn't get used up within a week or so? I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime, Monday afternoon I shut off my phone and turned it back on and now I can't make or receive calls or messages, I've done a hard reset, I actually went to the Samsung website thinking it was the phone, which after they worked on it remotely they told me to contact the carrier. Can anyone HELP??
My Samsung S7 was with T-Mobile as a carrier; can I change the S7 to Virgin as a Carrier?
Hi there! You can try clearing your browser cookies and cache before trying again. Or you can send us a private message and we can add it for you. As for the phone tutorials, they have not been uploaded yet. We're working on that!
