Trying to port two phones: both of them unlocked Verizon iphone 6s (currently one is with T-mobile and another with Cricket). Both of them still unlocked (use them regularly with other carrier SIMs when traveling internationally).
I am 100% certain they are compatible with VM according to the VM's own documentation and the VM Canadian site confirms this as well.
Unfortunately, the US eligibility checker tells me that the phones are not eligible and not able to proceed with the order. Here is the page with explanation it redirects me to. My zip is 30340 and is included in the service area.
Can someone suggest a solution or a real reason for ineligibility?
Same here, wanting to get into the inner circle deal with my unlocked 5S but keeps getting teh annoying message.
Please advice VM?
My unlocked iPhone 7 Plus, Verizon version, failed with the eligibility checker.
How odd the VM Canadian website and documentation confirms the phone will work on their network.
I called VM, and the representative confirmed that the iPhone is locked.
Verizon and Apple confirmed that my phone is unlocked.
I tried my friend VM Sim card, and I have no issues making phone calls.
Hours spent with an Inner Circle specialist and the activation cannot proceed because an ICCID number, from the Sim card, is required provided by the eligibility checker.
I went to the Apple Store to acquired a Sim card.
Apple representative tried to help with activation but relied on the VM eligibility checker.
After obtaining a Sim card, the Inner Circle specialist stated a new iPhone is required.
I called again and now waiting for another called back.
This is frustrating and many of the Inner Circle representatives are rude.
At this point, do I qualified for a new iPhone? =P
Hey there, @oneinchdeathpun@! Are you trying to activate your iPhone on Virgin Mobile USA or Virgin Mobile Canada? Bear in mind that Inner Circle is only available on Virgin Mobile USA.
Hi there oneinchdeathpun. Not all Inner Circle compatible iPhones are eligible for BYOD. To see which phones are eligible, please visit our website. https://www.virginmobileusa.com/byod. Victor21
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let’s take a closer look. Here are a few reasons why your iPhone might not be eligible for BYOD: https://community.virginmobileusa.com/t5/Learning-Library/Can-I-bring-my-own-device-to-Inner-Circle/.... We hope this helps!
