BYOD iPhone as an existing customer

I have been using Virgin mobile for years and just saw the new BYO iphone policy.  I've seen old posts that say current Virgin mobile users can't do this - is that still true?

If I can bring my own unlocked iPhone, do I need to buy a SIM kit, or can I use the SIM card in my current Virgin mobile device?

Thanks in advance.

Re: BYOD iPhone as an existing customer

I posted the same question yesterday: "Only new customers are eligible to bring their own phone to Virgin Mobile??"

It will be interesting to see if your reply is the same as mine (which wasn't good news).

On the plus side I've earned 3 badges for posting.

Hi there, @katie_katie @Nextman. Unfortunately, Bring Your Own Device is only possible for new accounts. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you.
