Hi there, griffur1! The gift card is sent after you've made two monthly payments on the account where the phone is activated.
Hi there, Gabe321! You will receive your $200 Visa Prepaid Card within 14 days of your second consecutive monthly payment being confirmed.
I'm having issue with my Black Friday $200 visa promo being denied due to "household limit exceeded". I purchase two iPhones: one for myself and one as a gift for my mother. I knew the terms said one rebate per household but did not specify any further. That is why before purchasing the phones, I asked via Facebook (where I found out about the promo) if I could pay for the phones and still get two rebates because my mother and I are in seperate households. I was told that it would be okay as long as I have the different address and name on seperate accounts for the seperate phones.
I made sure to ask many questions including unlock policy (where I now discover I was given unreliable info) and whether the promo was applicable to iPhone X preorders. In regards to the rebate, I had also asked if a form needed to be filled out or if the rebate would be automatically disbursed after the two month payments. I was actually told it would be automatic but I found out after my purchase I needed to fill out a form. Minor inconvenience, until I see on the form that the address they want is: "Address must be the same address that purchased the iPhone."... I had asked beforehand if it was okay I purchased the phones. I was told yes. But because of this, it is now considered same household and we're losing out on one rebate.
The icing on the cake is that the facebook Black Friday post where all my questions were including Virgin's responses for whatever reason was removed! The original post was https://www.facebook.com/1916340251727296 and a Google cache shows that the post did exist... https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:hGQKgCM0VcwJ:https://www.facebook.com/19163402...
I'm beyond upset as a new customer of less than a week. I've been misled and am questioning the integrity of this company. This all feels so shady. I've already had to jump through hoops with the unlocking policy, finding out after the fact that every agent I've encountered has their own version. But supposedly that's been taken care of or so I'll see. This promo is the next thing and the service center (calls, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) is no help. Everyone says something different and no one honors what anyone else is saying.
I'm now told that the shipping address of the phones is the only way to verify household address, yet I was told prior to my purchase that 1) as long as they are different addresses on the account info and 2) the gift cards will be sent to their respective addresses. Going back, none of this was stated in the terms where it vaguely mentioned one per household. Again, this is why I made sure to ask prior to making my purchase. I'm really trying to work with you guys but I'm super close to just asking my CC company for charge backs due to fraud and packing my bags. What a ride.
Hi there itsliz. I just read your comment above and definitely I would like to help you here and sort this out for you. Can you please send me a private message so we can discuss this more in-depth? Will be waiting for your response.
Hi, alexisf97! These are the eligibility/requirements for receiving $200 Visa Prepaid Card:
•Purchase iPhone from VirginMobileUSA.com between 11/24/17 and 11/27/17
•Activate on the Inner Circle plan by 1/15/18
•Register online at www.virginmobilerebates.com
•Make two consecutive MRC payments.
Yes, I bought an iPhone6s from Virgin Mobile between that duration. Since the purchase, I am on the Inner Cirle plan and I registered online with the Virgin Mobile rebates.
