Can I switch from an android to iphone on Virgin mobile?

I have an andriod Virgin mobile phone . It is stuck on the start up screen. Cause my current phone doesn't work I would like to upgarde to a iphone with Virgin mobile. If I can an iphone from Virgin Mobile , can I trasnfer my current number and plan? And if I can how is the process ? Also have a question if I buy an unlocked iphone from places ilike the Apple store or Best Buy could I trasfer it over my number and plan to my Virgin Mobile account  or not ?
