- Verify iMessage activation complete. On the device, select Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
- Under You can be reached by iMessage at:, ask if a phone number or email is listed.

- Tap the green call button.
- A Starting service update message will appear - tap Dismiss.
- If the update is successful a Service update complete message will appear - tap Dismiss.
