Getting account # and pin to switch to different provider

I have been on the inner circle plan for almost a year and a half and can no longer justify spending $50 per month for the amount I use my phone.  I am told I need to get my current provider account # and PIN as well as make sure my phone is unlocked.  Would a support person from Virgin Mobile kindly help me with this?  Thank you for you time.
