Today a Virgin customer service rep actually told me that the only way I was going to be able to activate the new phone I just bought from them was to find a pay phone and call a UK number (at long-distance rates from the US). Really? This has to be the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. This is a phone company for crying out loud! I haven't seen a pay phone in years, and I would have to bring a bucket of quarters so that I can wait on hold for an hour. Anyway, they seem unable to activate phones right now, and provide no way to contact US customer service that I can find. All I want to do is activate my new phone. Will someone contact me?
