I bought my iPhone 6s earlier this month, then received it in the mail on the 16th. Two days ago, exactly two weeks after I received it the charge port died. I was in the middle of moving and got stuck half way into my move because I had no phone/GPS. Upon calling VM I was told there’s no insurance or warranty for a supposed brand new phone I’d had for two weeks. What kind of BS is this where I buy a brand new phone, it dies two weeks later, then I’m told nothing can be done. I think it’s time to go to a different company. I was also told to I could buy the insurance, then wait for it to kick in, then file a claim and pay a deductible that’s $20 less than buying a brand new phone.
