I'm considering purchasing an iphone from VM (paying full price minus whatever promotional discounts are in place at the time) and activating it on their network. I have 2 questions.


1. If I am unsatisfied with the service, can I take this phone to another carrier?

2. When I activate, what is the best way to port my number to VM (from a Verizon dumbphone). Online or by calling customer service?
