Virgin Mobile USA Community Terms & Conditions

 

 

Welcome to the Virgin Mobile USA Community! This is where you can exchange ideas, tips, information, and techniques related to our products and services with other Virgin Mobile USA users to find information about your Virgin Mobile USA device and services.

You agree that by visiting, accessing or otherwise participating in the Virgin Mobile USA Community, you agree to the following VirginMobileUSA.com Community Terms & Conditions ("Community T&Cs").

 

You agree that by accessing the Community you are bound to the Community T&Cs, the Virgin Mobile USA Privacy Policy found at https://www.virginmobileusa.com/privacy , Virgin Mobile USA's Acceptable Use Policy, and Virgin Mobile USA?s Visitor Agreement both found at https://www.virginmobileusa.com/legal/ (collectively, the "Agreement"). It is important that you carefully review these policies as they cover important information on Privacy, Disclaimers of Warranties and Indemnification. Finally, the Virgin Mobile USA Community is intended for a mature audience and not for children under 13 years of age. To use the Virgin Mobile USA Community (i.e., to read or post), you represent that you are at least 13 years old. Virgin Mobile USA reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Agreement at any time.

 

Content

Virgin Mobile USA does not pre-screen or endorse any information submitted by participants in the Community ("Posts"), and is not responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any Post. We may remove any content or Post in the Community for any reason. The criteria for removing content include but are not limited to:

  • Content that is obscene or uses obscene, profane, or sexually explicit language.
  • Content that is violent, racist, incendiary, abusive, threatening, or slanderous against anyone or any group.
  • Content that violates any local, state or federal law.
  • Content intended to exploit, solicit, or harm minors.
  • Content containing your own or anyone else's personal information including, but not limited to passwords, credit card numbers, contact information, account information, CPNI or other personally identifying information. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you are solely responsible for any third-party use of any personal information you disclose to the community.
  • Content that uses JavaScript or active code, repetitive posts, or otherwise taking actions that interfere with site operations.
  • Content that includes Trojan horses, worms, spyware, files, executables, or external links to sites that force the download of any virus, program, spyware or other content or code that could alter, interfere with, damage or destroy data or functionality of any computer hardware or software or mobile device.
  • Member violations or deleted posts or warning letters, or discussion of sanctioned or no longer registered users.
  • Content relating to current, future, or proposed lawsuits for Virgin Mobile USA. This is not the forum for legal issues with Virgin Mobile USA, and we are not allowed to discuss ongoing litigation.
  • New threads for topics that already exist.
  • Content that advertises products or services, including external links for self-promotion of content related or unrelated to Virgin Mobile USA.
  • Content that is posted in more than one forum.
  • Content that is overly negative, hostile or does not add to the conversation. Virgin Mobile USA reserves the right to immediately disable an account and reject all Posts if a community member's display name contains profanity of any type or in any way mimics an official Virgin Mobile USA or Virgin Mobile USA employee account. No warnings will be issued in this instance. Virgin Mobile USA may limit or terminate any user's access to the Community for any reason, including temporary or permanent banishment from the Community. Virgin Mobile USA may take action against people falsely claiming to be someone they are not (including any community member), claiming expertise or credentials that they do not possess, or those users that violate these Virgin Mobile USA Community Ts&Cs.

 

Virgin Mobile USA Employees

Virgin Mobile USA or Sprint employees may participate in the Virgin Mobile USA Community, but are required to be identified by a Virgin Mobile USA or Sprint logo or badge. All Virgin Mobile USA/Sprint employees are bound by the Sprint Social Media Policy, Privacy Policy, and all other Sprint Policies when accessing, using, or participating in the Community. Sprint/Virgin Mobile USA employees (other than identified Social Care Agents and Social Media Specialists) will not ask Community members for any personal information via a post in a community forum, and are not authorized to access customer accounts in any capacity or for any reason. Virgin Mobile USA employees that participate in the Community do not represent Virgin Mobile USA, may not claim to speak on behalf of Virgin Mobile USA, and their views and opinions do not necessarily reflect those of Virgin Mobile USA. One of the features of the Virgin Mobile USA Community is the availability of authorized, identified Virgin Mobile USA Care Agents to answer questions. When an inquiry involves account-specific questions, the Virgin Mobile USA Care Agent may assist using private messaging or the chat feature, but never through a Post.

 

Changes

Virgin Mobile USA may at any time change these Community T&Cs, or any other part of the Agreement. The most current version of the Community T&Cs are always available in the Community. If any change we make to the Community T&Cs is unacceptable to you, you should discontinue accessing the Community. Your continued access to the Community will always indicate your acceptance of the most up-to-date version of the Community T&Cs.

 

Virgin Mobile USA Use of Posts and Content

If you provide any ideas, suggestions, or recommendations on this site regarding Virgin Mobile USA's products, technologies or services ("Feedback"), Virgin Mobile USA may use such Feedback and incorporate it in Virgin Mobile USA products, technologies, and services without paying royalties and without any other obligations or restrictions. By Posting to the Site you agree to grant Virgin Mobile USA a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to the Post. If you do not want to grant to Virgin Mobile USA the rights set out above, do not Post to the Site.
